  The dinner here cost around twice as much as our others in Oberstdorf (a "treat" at the end of our stay) and was the worst food. The rough greyish lumps of tuna "sashimi" were very tough and difficult to cut and didn't taste of much, the bread accompanying the tiny oversweet soup was somewhat stale, like it had been sliced that morning and left out all day, the only vegetarian main was a weird combination of "oriental couscous" and "wok vegetables" and was pretty bland. And as for the very expensive "pink roast beef with mushroom gnocchi", the sauce was almost inedibly salty, the gnocchi were tough, the mushrooms were grey and slimy, and they had somehow managed to make the roast beef extremely dry, despite it being cooked slightly pink. Furthermore, one of the waiters called my partner "du" (the familiar/impolite form of you), which I've never experienced in germany, even in much cheaper more casual places. In short, this place is massively overpriced for the poor quality, badly prepared food that they serve. A real tourist trap; avoid.
